Historic Events examples of usage was created by webtreesFUN
Can anybody show me the examples with usage some of HistoricEvents addons and related data base on real system?
How this working? Any link or images how to use?
These links are not soo helpful around
www.webtrees.net/index.php/forum/help-fo...c-events-and-stories
What I found:
github.com/reteP-riS/HistoricEvents-Germany
github.com/hartenthaler/german-wars-battles-worldwide
github.com/hartenthaler/german-chancellors-presidents
github.com/hartenthaler/swiss-historic-events
github.com/JesseWebDotCom/webtrees-historic-us-events
github.com/fisharebest/webtrees/blob/687...ule/USPresidents.php
As I understanding.. some events can be visible in timeline.. ?
By my vision it should be done in this way, where exist in timeline 2 columns or more (depend type of events, eg. can add more cols with events for some countries, eg. US, UK, UE) where between cols are data born/dead (more like brackets on timeline) to compare with columns with events. Then this can have sense..
Then around family can be custom events/stories as important for trees.. or for compare tree families to see the "brackets" (life time as born - dead).

There is a short description of "historic events" in the
German webtrees manual
.
In the following screenshot you can see two events in the timeline of a person (marriage and death) and in between several historic events, because in that tab the selection "Historic events" was selected by the user.

You can always develop your own module to integrate it into WT if the standard doesn't fit your ideas....
