Import under webtrees was created by lduval
Hello,
I would like to import my Geneatique 2023 genealogy into webtrees. What parameters should I choose when exporting from Geneatique?

Character set - UTF8
Sources - in separate records
Place format - None of these :-) The middle option is best. You may need to remove the INSEE code afterwards.

thank you very much for this information.
However, when I click on a person, I get fields like INDI:RESI:_ACT or FAM:MARR:_ACT or INDI:OCCU:_ACT.
Can this be fixed?

These are non-standard tags created by geneatique.

webtrees can easily add support for these.
But you will need to tell me that they mean. What is "al"?

Alternatively (1), there is a configuration option "Hide GEDCOM errors".

Alternatively (2), they can be deleted.

al means online archive (archives en ligne in french). I checked the option but it still appears...

I think this shows in red because there is no translation for the _ACT tag. And it sounds like this is the same as (or comparable to) a Source.

Since a source reference may be inline (meaning it does not refer to another source record but contains all info right there) you can use the Batch module Search and Replace to find all occurrences of "_ACT al" and replace these with "SOUR al".

Or delete them (by replacing "2 _ACT al" with nothing)

> I checked the option but it still appears...

Ah. That is a bug. It will be fixed in the next release.

> al means online archive (archives en ligne in french). I checked the option but it still appears...

So, how should we display "_ACT al"?

Perhaps "Acte: en ligne"?

Perhaps "Acte: en ligne"?
Yes that's good
So how do you change this _ACT al to "Acte: en ligne" all at once?

I will have to update the code.

I guess the English text will be "Certificate: online".

Are there other options, or is "al" the only possible value?

It's to indicate an imprecise date, as "around"

webtrees support GEDCOM 5.5.1 dates, use ABT <date> rather than this custom date from the other software provider.

Hello,
I resume the discussion thread.
I updated webtrees in 2.1.20. I still get gedcom errors in red, even if I check the following option "hide gedcom errors". Do I need to do another action ?
Thank's a lot
Laurent

What are the errors?  Please provide the GEDCOM that is in error, we may be able to advise you in how to fix the non-standard GEDCOM provided by your other software!

As I indicated above, GEDCOM supports the ABT in dates.

2.1.20 works for me.  I added `2 _ACT al` to a record.  It is displayed as "Certificate: online"

ged errors are as follows:
Code:
INDI:_DCT 01/03/2023 18:43 INDI:_ORG Geneatique2023 INDI:_CHV N

I don't think these are really errors, since these are custom tags and thus should be allowed. These are just red because webtrees does not know how to translate their codes to readable text.

How would you like these tags to be displayed? You can remove them or change them if you like with a good text editor prior to importing.

webtrees can add support for these custom tags.

But we need to know about them.

You told me about the _ACT tags and I added support for them.

You will need to explain the meaning of:
INDI:_DCT 01/03/2023 18:43
INDI:_ORG Geneatique2023
INDI:_CHV N

I do not know what DCT or CHV mean.
