Photo Gallery as the initial point to entice relatives to view webtrees is actually a good idea!
Have you done this already? I would like to see if possible.

Currently my setup is under Wampserver. I'm too paranoid to expose my data into the internet but trying to learn more about security measures I can put in to prevent data leaks.

I paid for software that provided a similar yet less GEDCOM experience.. WebTrees, like all similar software, has issues. It is a fair comment I am sure.. Prop even Greg might agree. <SMILE>

I live in Nu Tirani - New Zealand and cannot seem to donate.. SO I am with about 20 others in NZ who may not have contributed to this amazing software..

I would happily pay as best I can to support Greg in his endeavours improving this remarkable Family History Software.

MAYBE!!! JUST MAYBE!!!!!

We could form a team of folks who are willing to take time and look at requests for improvements and actually help Greg move forward with this FABULOUS Software.

New topic may be required.. Lets go USERS Lets make Gregs job a damned sight easier!!

I wrote the "Family Tree Home Page" module for this exact reason, years ago.  I had many visitors who felt absolutely lost in the "My Page" section.

That said, it won't create interest where none exists.  Honestly, many of my relatives express some curiosity but no long-term interest in genealogy.
