Regarding the modules of commemoration (sacrifice, mourning, and remembrance)
I think the purpose of writing a family tree for each family is to inherit the family culture, so that future generations can remember the excellent traditions of their ancestors, and develop them through inheritance. A popular movie line a few years ago: "There are three deaths in a person's life: the first is a biological death, the second is when society declares your death, and the third is when the last person who remembers you leaves this world and is completely forgotten by the world. This is the ultimate death.".
So, a family tree should not just be a dusty ancient book, it should also have the function of crossing life and death, connecting ancient and modern, and expressing emotions. Although it is not possible to have two-way communication with ancestors, it can at least express the commemorative feelings of future generations towards their ancestors.
I really like WEBTREES, a family tree software. Its scalability makes me feel like I can implement some of my ideas, so I wrote a module about the commemorative wall, allowing other family members to not only search for relevant clan information, but also express their nostalgia for their deceased loved ones here.
