Question default.phtml in wt 2.2

The file default.phtml in ..../resources/views/layouts seems to be no longer used in the standard themes. Where is it gone?

I changed a script part (colorbox - jackmoore) there, to show only the clicked image. That now works only with the rural theme (or may be with other non original wt themes). No effect if one of the original wt themes is selected.

/resources/views/layouts/default.phtml is still used for all the genealogy pages (i.e. not the admin pages).

I think you are mistaken.

This file is used for all themes.

I can rename the default.phtml to something.txt and wt still runs (if I have webtrees theme).

I just did, and you can see my site is running.

If I rename default.phtml to default.txt, then my site fails with the expected error:

RuntimeException: View file not found: /Users/gr4376/Projects/webtrees/app/../resources/views/layouts/default.phtml

Modules can replace existing views.

Maybe you have a module that replaces default.phtml with its own version?

If two modules try to modify the same thing, only one of them can "win".

I'm not sure there is a solution to this type of problem.
