Privacy of media was created by WGroleau
Some of us hide sources from the general public because of the risk that users may include private information in formats that webtrees cannot detect. Seems to me the same risk applies to titles and notes on media (or the media itself if a scan of a document).

So I think admins should have the ability to decide who can see media in the same manner as sources.

The privacy logic (which is different to PGV) should let you do this.

From the privacy configuration tab (on the gedcom configuration page), you can set privacy rules for objects (level 0) as well as facts (level 1).

Set "Multimedia Object" to "Show to authorised users", and you should get what you want.
