option to break importing Gedcom was created by mariannevanharten
When importing a Gedcom file which consist of duplicate ID's (individuals, families, or whatever), webtrees halts the import, but tries to restart every time I open the control panel.
It doesn't help to delete the Gedcom file,
I appreciate an option in the control panel to break the import.
Best regards,
Marianne

You can abort the GEDCOM import by deleteing all rows from the table wt_gedcom_chunk in your database, for example with phpMyAdmin.

It does this so that you can again see the error message (duplicate XREF, invalid data, etc.)
You can use the import option to load a (hopefully corrected) GEDCOM file to replace the one with an error.
