I've been looking through my logs at searches - only just discovered this, very useful.
But I noticed that many users seem to think General Search works like Google - they use very long complex search terms and these find nothing even if they include a name that is indeed in the family tree.
I've added a note on the search page of my site, "General Search - keep it simple", maybe that will help.
Perhaps an explanatory note could be added to future releases.
