Please implement a feature where I can export my contact list from my phone or import the exported CSV from  contacts.google.com

The CSV file from contacts.google.com has relationship information like spouse, son, daughter, relative, etc. which is not too important but useful.

The most important part is to upload the bulk of 200+ peoples names. I can arrange the relationships later.

Please also import their email addresses and phone numbers because maybe in the future we might invite them via email or SMS or Mastodon or something.

An invite to the imported contact would be like:

Dear Name,
Agron has added you to their private and guarded online family tree and you are invited to join
url.url.com/agrons ....

Agron has also singed you up for notifications from this family tree. If you didn't want to stay informed about the developments in this family tree, you can unsubscribe here [ url.url.com/unsub .]

Thanks.

Without they are entered in webtrees, you can send a mail with the wt register link.
More easy than to have to remove the auto entered noshow ones by hand.

No I would't remove them because they're family.
If I imported my 7 uncles and their children, their in-laws, etc. they all end-up in my family tree.
Maybe I delete the imported user, but not their GEDCOM record. That's what need the most. And tha's what I would like as a feature to create GEDCOM records out of my contacts list.

> create GEDCOM records out of my contacts list

From CSV data it's possibly easiest to go via GedTool, which is an Excel tool that can produce a gedcom file.

I'd like to add, if you don't import but do it by hand, you'll get some training in data entry in webtrees. I find it's not too difficult or cumbersome eventually. And you have to think about how to enter data and you may see other facts & events that can be added.

Besides using GedTool as Bert suggested I see the following ways to do that.
- develop a webtrees custom module to import VCF and CSV
- use ChatGPT to generate GEDCOM out of your VCF or CSV
- if I remember right there is such a module in Gramps importing VCF and CSV (Import Text); use that and export GEDCOM in Gramps, then import in webtrees.
