support for GEDCOM 7: EXID was created by hermann
As far as  I can see EXID is already supported by webtrees a bit. But EXID:TYPE is not supported, at least _LOC:EXID:TYPE is not.

I would like to add to my shared location records (_LOC) some references to a location like:
Code:
1 EXID HERURGJO52BU
Code:
2 TYPE https://gov.genealogy.net/
Code:
1 EXID 9734817
Code:
2 TYPE https://www.familysearch.org/research/places/?focusedId=

It would be nice to see in the user interface an URL like [url] gov.genealogy.net/HERURGJO52BU [/url] that can be clicked.

Shouldn't this be specified in Gedcom-L first? Do you happen to know if there are plans to update the Gedcom-L Addendum to Gedcom 7?

Also, regarding GOV ids specifically, if _LOC:_GOV is to be replaced by _LOC:EXID:TYPE, it seems a good idea to replace _GOV everywhere, i.e. use *:PLAC:EXID:TYPE instead of *:PLAC._GOV. I guess Gov4Webtrees should offer/support this format?

As far as I can see, there is no idea of doing anything regarding the GEDCOM Addendum (based on 5.5.1) before a decision about location records is made in the GEDCOM 7 standard. So adding EXID:TYPE to _LOC is a mixture of semi-standard 5.5.1 and standard 7. I want to use it already because I'm confident that the next GEDCOm 7 standard will support something similar to the _LOC of the GEDCOM-L addendum.

But in general: webtrees is already supporting several GEDCOM 7 elements (like EXID), so it would be nice if EXID:TYPE would be supported, too. It would be helpful if there is a list of supported EXID-types, which could be edited by a webtrees admin. That would allow a user when entering a new EXID to select a value in a dropdown list of supported type values.

I think it is already planned to replace the custom "_GOV xxx" everywhere with "EXID xxx:TYPE  gov.genealogy.net/ ". It would be nice if Gov4Webtrees could support that as an alternative already now. And it would be helpful to have a filter as data fix for _GOV or _FSFTID and similar ids based on the   ExtendedImportExport  module.
