There already is a link on the bottom of each page titled "For genealogy questions contact ..."

On my site with thousands of individuals indexed by search engines this is used only a couple of times per year. Do you have other experiences?

Do you think stating just "questions" puts people off that have corrections or additional data they want to have published?

I personally think that there should be the least of a barrier for visitors to give feedback. I would find a form which asks me for the source or data quite intimidating. It gets too "formal" to my taste.

stamboom.BertKoor.nl runs on webtrees v2.2.1

Yes, but it is generally not used (except in very specific situations).

I do not receive many enquiries. However, when I am contacted by phone or email to point out possible errors based on their data, it takes me a long time to locate the individual, verify my own data and, in most cases, I have to request more information from the person reporting the error. Many rely on their own family trees and their entries come from oral transmissions, which further complicates the situation. In addition, over time, I may unintentionally forget the matter, making the person feel that I have forgotten their query. Therefore, I think that those interested should send their queries in writing, allowing me to follow them up more efficiently.

I think there shouldn't be many questions, just the essentials: name, email, date and a text box with the information. Whoever really wants to collaborate, would have no problem doing so.

I personally think that there should be the least of a barrier for visitors to give feedback. I would find a form which asks me for the source or data quite intimidating. It gets too "formal" to my taste.

Yes, that is correct. But I wouldn't need a lot of data from you. I prefer to have a screenshot or the interactive tree for my control. Sometimes I leave the topic for checks and then I don't remember where I left off, which forces me to restart (age thing).
