I have been using ShortURL, personally dubbed "go 2," for some years now and find it very useful.

I have it installed in my go2 directory, and use it to create shortcuts to particular pages.
For example, entering
www.adkins.ws/go2/sitemap
(a misnomer) will take you to
adkins.ws/media/sitemap.html
Or instead of
adkins.ws/tree/Adkins.GED/individual/I00...orth-Tommy-Adkins-Jr
for my Dad's page, I can use adkins.ws/go2/dad
It's a quick way to access a page for which you may not remember the URL, or to just give someone a "short URL."
Possibly a module for someone good with database design.

Das ist nach meiner Meinung eine total überflüssige Möglichkeit Verknüpfungen zu speichern (die mir vermutlich auch noch zusätzliche Werbung beschert) . Verknüpfungen in den Favoriten des Browsers oder auch die Verknüpfungen in dem Favoriten-Block auf "Meine Seite" sind genau so wirkungsvoll.
In my opinion, this is a completely unnecessary way to save links (which probably also results in additional advertising). Links in the browser's favorites or the links in the favorites block on "My Page" are just as effective.
