Question fake registration request

Hi, since several months everyday i receive fake registration request from people like "SvMxbaPXGWyZmNcD". I´d like to know, if there is a possibility to remove the request for new user accounts. Or what else could i do to stop this ?

If someone wants to type in a registration request with fake details, there is little that webtrees can do to stop it.

You can look at the IP address that is making this request, and block it.

I thought of removing the registration field from the home page. But i don´t know how. Would that be possible ?

Control panel -> Sign in and registrations -> Allow visitors to request a new user account -> disable

I thought you were asking how to block fake registrations, rather than all registrations...
