Problems with theme after upgrading to 1.7.20 was created by f0rd42
Hi
in preparation to upgrade to the latest 2.x version I just upgraded to 1.7.20
the process moaned about incompatible modules and themes which I simply disabled in the upgrade process.
Result of Update:
---cut---Upgrade wizardIt can take several minutes to download and install the upgrade. Be patient.
--cut---
Unfortunately when I click anywhere else now, I get:
Fatal error: Call to a member function getTreeId() on null in /var/www/web558/html/wiebeworldwide/webtrees/modules_v3/fancy_treeview/module.php on line 66
---cut---
this is weird, as I had the module disabled during upgrade.
Anything I can do to fix this? Module availability doesn't matter, as I'm basically in the process of upgrading to the latest version and then migrate into a docker environment on premise.
thanks a lot in advance

Simply rename /var/www/web558/html/wiebeworldwide/webtrees/modules_v3/fancy_treeview to /var/www/web558/html/wiebeworldwide/webtrees/modules_v3/fancy_treeview.BCK to deactivate this module.

Hi Peter.
thanks for the quikc reply.
Renaming just gives me the same error message with the BCK
Fatal error: Call to a member function getTreeId() on null in /var/www/web558/html/wiebeworldwide/webtrees/modules_v3/fancy_treeview.BCK/module.php on line 66

Disabling modules by renaming them to contain a "." only works in webtrees 2.0. This is described in
webtrees.net/download/modules
However, if you are planning to upgrade to webtrees 2.0, then you can simply delete the folder modules_v3. webtrees 2.0 uses a different structure for modules, and these are installed in a folder modules_v4.

Thanks, seems it worked, but now I have a problem with the themes (that I also disabled during update)
Fatal error: Call to a member function getSubmenus() on null in /var/www/web558/html/wiebeworldwide/webtrees/themes/justlight/theme.php on line 373

So according to what Greg said: delete the justlight folder within the themes folder.
