Migration - using ISPConfig was created by joseph
Hello

We have a web panel software that we use

ISPConfig

I want to move the webtrees fro one domain to another, because I am cancelling one of the domains.

In ISOConfig, I can just rename the domain to another one, and it will set up the needed fixes under the hood to "move" it.

The it still points to the same DB.

But, do I need to change the config in webtrees to say that I have a new domain name?

Any other considerations?

I ask because I already did it, and when I try to view the page, it does notwork.

I changed my cloudflare entry to add the new domain.

Thanks for any ideas.

Quick update.

When I switched it over to the new domain, the web page did not work.

I decided to put it back. But, when reverted to the original domain, it did not work. Something got messed up. I broke it.

I got the idea from the ispconfig forums that suggested O just rename the domain. Imessed it up.

Yes. In the file /data/config.ini.php you should change the value of property base_url.

stamboom.BertKoor.nl runs on webtrees v2.2.1
