Gallery Module or viewing unlinked files in a folder on the server was created by searnhardt
I'm on the Alpha Version of 2.1. PHP 8.1 I've never used the Gallery Module as I've never installed an earlier version of webtrees, so I don't know if that was the solution to my problem. I have lot's of files in my data folders that are yet to be linked in any way to a person in the database. Is there a way to securely browse these files? If not natively within webtrees, are there any other suggestions? I know that I could make the directories browsable via http, but I want it behind a password. Just curious if other people are in a similar situation and how they deal with it.

I started looking at some of these files last night and I verified that some that are showing as "Unused Files" are actually linked as attachments to sources. My best example is that I have downloads of Census Pages attached to each census fact. I do NOT have them attached to the person as "Media". It looks like they do show up under the individuals "Album" page. Anyway, is there any way to view files in my folders that are not attached in ANY way to a person in the database? My guess is, at the moment, "Unused Files" means that they are not on any person's "Media" page. Thanks in advance. And, if it can't be changed, can you at least verify that what I've written is correct and that it's not an error only for me in some way?
