How to update with a new gedcom file? was created by Haraldvaagene
DONE !
I have done a lot at my computer since I started with webtrees. Now I have a new gedcom file and want to import this to webtrees. How is the best way to do this? Do I have to start with deleting the old tree and make a new one?

I think: Consider if you want to add the new gedcom to a new tree in webtrees, then merge the trees and then look for duplicates in the new merged tree.
After that, don't touch the gedcom when you have to edit your tree.

Thankyou, I will try this. But I think it will be impossible for me to check every person if there is duplicate. But anyhow, I will first make a new tree!

I assume you are doing all your editing in your desktop computer, and are only using webtrees to share/display your data.
In this case, you want to *replace* the data in webtrees with the updated GEDCOM file from your desktop computer.
Control panel -> Family tree -> Import
