Is it possible to assign a coat of arms to a family? was created by bagu

Hello, I use webtree 2.1.20.
I wanted to know if it was possible to assign a coat of arms for each family that has one?

At the moment, I've added a media item to my card. This media is the coat of arms of my family on my father's side.
But it's only attached to me.
The aim is to attach it to everyone with the same name as me.
Similarly, I have a coat of arms for the family on my mother's side, and I want it to be attached to everyone with my mother's name.

global is not possible, attach the media object to each person/family(marriage) or within an event or fact.

your tree has only 296 indi.
But scripting (for example with search and replace) should be easy (but has no worth imho).
Put them onto the tree page with some interesting informations).

My online tree yes... But i have an offline which have a way more

No problem... I just ask is it was possible...And it's not. No worry

That doesn't quite answer your question, but perhaps you can use the sosa²⁰ module , replacing the symbols with coats of arms.

I suggest to use the name badges as @Gustine suggested. And you can use the custom modules "enhanced clippings cart" and "tagging service manager" github.com/huhwt/huhwt-tsm to add hundreds of shared notes to all the persons using the same badge (coat of arms).
