Problem with upgrade was created by MontrealSoft
Hi, I tried to upgrade my site today using the web interface.
The download would timeout so I set the timeout to 60 seconds.
The download now was ok, decompression was ok, but it quit after that (another timeout),
but after that the site gave an error 500.
I found the temp site that was just unzipped, and copied it to the root.
Now I have a "This website is down for maintenance. You should try again in a few minutes.".
Can you help ?
Thanks !

See
webtrees.net/upgrade/manual/
It looks like only the last step is not done. But to be sure and avoid unpleasant surprises I'd personally just do the whole procedure again manually.
webtrees.net FAQ wrote: Manual Upgrade Steps
- Download webtrees-2.1.18.zip, webtrees-2.0.26.zip or webtrees-1.7.20.zip as appropriate.
- Unpack this file on your computer. You should have a folder called webtrees.
- Create a file data/offline.txt on the server. If it contains a message, it will be shown to your users. If it is empty, a default message will be shown. The file must have this exact name and location - even if you have chosen a different data folder in the control panel.
- Upload the contents of the webtrees folder to the corresponding folder on your web server.
- Delete the file data/offline.txt.

Great thanks it worked ! I suspected there was a flag somewhere putting the system in maintenance.
And the offline.txt was exactly it. Thanks !!
