> but not how to export the place locations.
I can't remember exactly how the user-interface looks in 1.7, but go to the webtrees control panel, find the place where you manage location data, and there will be a button/link/option to export your data as a CSV file.

Got it - 13MB file, thank you. So I need to delete all the lat/longs before I can upgrade?, cannot fix the two errors?

After you upgrade, you can import the CSV file.
Importing this file should automatically cure the errors.

When I attempted to upgrade, my server tech reported "I performed strace to see where the website is stalling and it appears that it keeps making database queries infinitely."
I cannot upgrade unless I delete or fix the invalid places first. (I think.)

I regret the many questions, but I have about 10K images. I understand the GEDCOM import should "reattach" the photos to the individuals & families?

The link to the photos is in the gedcom as text.
If needed you can change the path, either with an Editor like notepad or within webtrees function search and replace, even with regular expressions.
