Timeout set to 60 minutes ( same as old system) and space added to count.

I'm playing around with adding code to an entry which displays fine when I first submit the new entry to the thread:
Code:
Line 1 Line 2 Line 3 Line 4

When I go back to to the entry to "Edit" it the block start/end are missing.

If I "quote" someones code the Block start/end are also gone which is a problem when the code is at the end of the quoted text because the block end gets incorporated into the text being added to the reply.

Ken, it's probability a bug in the editor code. Let me kick it around to be sure it's not some of our local code that is causing the problem.

What I see when quoting:

I think the magic  is in the "Source" button...

I don't see an end [/quote] in the example. My guess is that you can't put code into a quote.

Here is what I see when I EDIT the above message I entered:

Using current version of Firefox Browser.  Just checked and the browser says "Up to date".

AND if I display the "Source" all of the formatting buttons are grey!

So I learned that the "Source" button must be selected to see the Start/End markers, then I need to add a line outside of the end marker, then turn off the "Source" button so I can further edit the message using the formatting buttons.

Not a very intuitive editor!  But now I know!

regarding the lack of 'Last Post', I do not find that link when on mobile, only on desktop. Am I missing a setting on my mobile? ...
I really miss that Last Post Mobile link and will only try to view the Forum on desktop/laptop

I figured it out. On the desktop, you do not have to log in to see the Last Post. It makes quickly glancing at the Recent Topics very easy to see if a new entries have occurred. On mobile, you must log in to view if there are any Last Post and who wrote it. The previous Forum engine consistently showed Last Post regardless of mobile or desktop, regardless of whether you logged in or not.

    I miss that 'feature'

I am not sure what your seeing.  I can see the Last Post on my Pixel 6a without logging in.  You need to select the Forum and then the second hamburger menu.

The problem is that the column headings Review/Views Last Post is missing.  I will add them back in our changes.

I recently tried to use the "Private message" feature and got surprising results. The text of my message was apparently sent only to the target individual, but the attachment was posted globally as a public message without any text. Is that working as intended? If so, then please disable the Attachment block if you select the "Private message" in the composer.

Drblam, the Kunena development team acknowledged the issue and said it would be fixed in a future version.
