The slideshow earlier worked.

I only use JPG, never JPEG.

I have now checked the GEDCOM to see if there are any JPEG files in it. There are only JPG files.

But in the GEDCOM I discovered that Brothers Keeper treats the .JPG differently:

- Normal photos with JPG are in the PICTURES section of BK.
- Documents with the extension PDF and JPG are located in the MEDIA section.

@Sir Peter : Indeed, the slideshow worked fine until revision 2.1.0 or 2.1.1 ? I noticed this problem with version 2.1.2.

I suggest to open an issue at github.com/fisharebest/webtrees/issues and wait for a developer to analyse and reply.

I *believe* a manual fix might require 3 different actions depending on the specific situation and it might not be worth the risk:

1. Control panel: Search and replace 2 TYPE JPEG with 2 TYPE JPG
2. Update the database entries: UPDATE `wt_media_file` SET `multimedia_format` = 'JPG' WHERE `multimedia_format` = 'JPEG';
3. Rename media files on the file system and correct the corresponding 2 FILE ... names as well.

Bei den früheren WT-Versionen funktionierte die Diashow einwandfrei. Das ist seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr der Fall.
Nachdem ich den empfohlenen SQL-Befehl ausgeführt hatte, funktionierte die Diashow wie früher. Leider bleibt es nicht dabei.
Heute habe ich neue Gedcom-Dateien in die verschiedenen Webtrees-Installationen importiert. Danach funktionierte überall die Diashow nicht mehr. Ich bin gezwungen nach dem Gedcom-Import bei allen Datenbanken diesen SQL-Befehl auszuführen. Es wäre schön, wenn es so wäre wie früher.
