When changing from 1.7x to 2.1x, there is the problem that many public links are used in external websites, e-mails, etc.
Is there a way to convert or redirect the link from 1.7x to 2.1x when running?

Version 1.7x: https://domain/individual.php?pid=Individualid&ged=familytree

Version 2.1x: https://domain/webtrees/index.php?route/webtrees/tree/ familytree /individual/ Individualid

Why is "webtrees" used twice in 2.1x ?

If the module 'Legacy URLs' is active, this is done by webtrees itself. You could also configure redirects in your web server configuration.

In general, you may want to enable 'pretty urls', see here - This will also remove the duplicated 'webtrees' within your urls.

The switch to “pretty URLs” worked. There are only problems when calling the 1.7x URL - does anyone have any ideas.
