Is it possible to enable notify the administrator by e-mail about the new user registration in the webtrees 1.7.7?

A new user must be approved by the admin (or is there a config switch to skip that step?) and (s)he receives an email notificaction about that.

If you do not receive emails, then perhaps you need to check your email/SMTP settings?

The email is sent to the "Genealogy contact" for the tree.
You can set this in Control panel -> Manage family trees -> Preferences

e-mail is sent from the "Genealogy contact" to the new user.
The administrator is not informed of the registration by e-mail.
Letter about it is not sent to the "contact genealogy."

Sending an email does not guarantee that it will be received. There are spam-filters, black-lists, etc.
Some mail providers will not accept mail sent by web-hosts, etc.

Administrator did not receive e-mails.
The SPAM folder is empty.

So webtrees can send email to everybody except you?

Gmail will delete "obvious" spam, and moves "possible" spam to the spam folder.

If your server is on a blacklist, then your mail may be dropped silently without being returned.
For example, many mail servers will silently drop all mail that is sent from server-farms, such
as Amazon, Linode, Rackspace, etc.
There are lots of reasons why mail is not delivered.

In the log, there is no information about sent e-mails.
There is only

Many people use a google account to send mail using SMTP.
I find it reliable.

Set [account admin]@t.pl in webtrees.
Registration e-mail reaches to the user.
There is no e-mail on account [account admin]@t.pl.
E-mail sent from webmail from [account admin]@t.pl to [account admin]@t.pl is provided.

The "Genealogy contact" works well, except that there is given only a name, not an e-mail.
The e-mail is taken from Control Panel -> Users -> User Administration -> E-mail address specific to the Admin.
All the time I looked at e-mail "reply address webtrees".
Everything works well.
