Predicted filed values was created by Grumbletum
When entering a value in Source fields in Facts and Events, suggested values are given according to the entry being made. However this is not consistent across the types of events and also the suggested values cannot be corrected.

For example:

When entering Silton Parish Records the suggestion being given is Silton parish records. Is there any way in which I can amend/correct the suggested value(s) for a field? This would save a lot of time.

Hi Grumbletum,

go to "menu -> lists -> sources" (/sourcelist.php) and edit the desired entry. This setting applies to all future citations.

Afterwards webtrees will suggest always the new value.

btw: Shouldn't the place "parish" rather be an archive/repository and the documents contained therein then be assigned to the sources?

Greetings

Thanks for resolving this issue. Of course I should use links to resources for sources, but sometimes there is no specific link to make, so it is better to note a general resource rather than nothing at all.
